Statement
CreatorLabs provides software and related services that help adult creators manage communications and offer content through accounts they maintain on third-party platforms. CreatorLabs’ public website at creator-labs.ai describes those services. It is not presented as a public gallery of sexually explicit visual depictions.
Sections 2257 and 2257A of Title 18 of the United States Code, and 28 C.F.R. Part 75, impose recordkeeping and notice requirements on persons who produce certain visual depictions of actual human beings engaged in actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct. Whether those requirements apply depends on the particular depiction and the activities performed in relation to it.
Creators using the CreatorLabs service are required to establish the age, identity, consent, and rights of persons depicted in their content and to maintain records required of them by applicable law. CreatorLabs may request supporting documentation and may restrict use of the service when documentation is unavailable or content violates its policies.
CreatorLabs’ role in handling content through connected accounts is assessed according to the functions actually performed. This statement does not claim that all content handled by the service is exempt from §§ 2257 or 2257A, or that a creator’s obligations eliminate any obligation that may independently apply to CreatorLabs. Where CreatorLabs is required to maintain records or display a record-location notice for a particular depiction, it will do so in accordance with applicable law.
